Today was a great day. We got to see our baby for the first time! It finally feels more real! its still strange to think that, that little tiny human is inside my belly! Too Crazy!
So Eben obviously came along and we saw our little bean pop up almost instantly! Actually my bowels got in the way initially, but once the ultrasound lady pushed and manoeuvred her way around my stomach and got my annoying bowels out of the way we were good to go. I told her that my bowels annoy me too ;) damn lazy bowels ..ANYWAY our little bean is SOOO cute!! he (dont know if the baby is a boy or girl but Eb and i both find ourselves referring to our bean as a he! better than IT!) kept moving around though so the ultrasound lady sometimes found it difficult to get a good profile shot. i kept laughing! not because i thought it was funny, but because i couldnt believe it!! Such a surreal thing to see your baby on a screen, the size of a lime, inside your stomach. Everytime i laughed my stomach would tighten and my muscles would push the ultrasound thing up and we lost the picture of the baby! haha i couldnt help it! Eb and I both had a HUGE smile on our face the whole time. I kept saying "Holy ...moly..." i tried to be civil ;) .
