o h m y b a b y !: melbourne marathon!

So today our little beaner, eben and I competed in the Melbourne Marathon! Okay so i only walked 3km, but eben ran 5.7km! He did it without stopping and without training! I thought that was pretty awesome, i know i couldn't do it. Sez, Zia Lucy, Mark and Kim also competed. Marko completed the 10km run which is pretty incredible!
I didnt get much sleep last night so it was really tough to get out of bed this morning. We started the day by having breakfast at a restaurant called Berth at docklands. Marks friend Deanna is the head chef there so she organised breakfast for us and we payed $30 each, and her boss was going to double it and donate it to our everyday hero page in honour of Zio Alfi. It was a great breakfast and such a nice thing to do!
We then went onto our races and we all really enjoyed it! The weather was perfect!

It was a really good day, im glad we all did it! It makes me feel like i was apart of something, like i contributed to something "melbourne". I dont know but it felt great.

Our next walk is on Nov 18th which is the Walk to D'Feet MND. The whole family will take part in that so it should be another great day. After that one we have the color run! First time for it to hit melbourne and it looks like a blast! They throw colour paint/chalk stuff on you as you walk/run the 5km! So fun!!

After our walk Eben and I went home, had a little nap, then got back up to take photos. Eben came along which was great. He will be my assistant from now on because the gear is getting to heavy for me to carry around. We took shots of Natalie Patti and her partner Frank. Im so happy with them!!!!

Eben was cute, he kept taking shots of me while i was taking shots of them. Its nice to have photos of our little beaner and I shooting together :)
