SURPRISE!!

So on sunday we told Ebens side of the family that we are expecting!!  It was so fun to HEAR their reactions!  it kind of didnt go the way we had planned because of some technical failure, but it was still fun to hear.
We grabbed a commercial off youtube and edited us into it announcing our pregnancy in a few different ways, we then told the fam that we were extras in a commercial so to watch closely.  It was really funny because eben downloaded this program that lets you record what you see on your screen, we thought this would be cool because we wanted to show people later how the family reacted.  As soon as the commercial started their video cut out and all we could hear was sound!!  so frustrating!  its funny to see our faces when the video stops working.  still something fun to keep!  ill try and post the video on here somehow later.
Last night we were at my parents house for dinner.  eben arrived pretty late so i was worried everyone was going to start to leave the table.  at one point andrew got up and i said "sit down, wait for eben, thats rude!" ;)  well it worked because we were all at the table still when eben arrived.  after about 5 minutes i gave him the tap on the leg signal to grab his phone and start video recording.  i then grabbed two dummys/pacifiers/nuks out of my jacket pocket and said "hey dad, hey ma" and through one each at them.  they didnt know what was going on and then mum looked at it, then she looked at me, looked at it and said "no..NO!!  ARE YOU SERIOUS??? ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!.." and pretty much freaked out!  Dad looked like a stunned mullet!  i think he was and still is in shock.  the video eben took was pretty crappy but you can hear mums reaction and its pretty funny.  ill have to post that on here too when i get it off eben.
so yes, a very eventful week!!!!  i cant wait to tell the rest of the family on september 10th, we told chris and nat the plan so fingers crossed everyone is there!
