due date!

we officially have a due date!!  our baby will be born on March 14th 2013!  This is so crazy to me!!  We actually have a date!  Also i was told i am actually 10 weeks pregnant!
So i went to see my doctor on tuesday and here is the run down:
- we want to try to NOT gain anymore than 14kg!!!!  THATS HEAPS!!!!  :S
- i have made my appointment for my first ultra sound and blood test which tests for down syndrome.  this is happening on Sep 4th
- I was told i CAN eat deli meats and soft cheeses as long as they are cooked and eaten straight away!  YAY for pizza!!
- i asked the doctor about elective c-sections and he said i would have to really twist someones arm to agree to it if i am able to have a natural birth.  I know some of you might think its silly and immature but i am terrified!  Im not like my brave friends who wanted only natural birth,  it is something i am truly scared about whether i can do it.  I do want to take hypno birthing classes and have a doula (hopefully my friend Bianca) so im hoping that will help ease my mind.
- we have health insurance so we need to decide whether we want to go public or private.  the doctor said if we can to go private as it is the best care, but we will be out of pocket $3,000 or $4, 000!  eeep!
- i was told i have to be careful when working out, so nothing that will get me puffed out.  We just started swimming and although he said that was really good for me it is making me short of breath.  I just have to take it really slow, maybe swim one lap, then wade another, swim, wade and so on.

I cant really remember the rest!!  anyway we are going to tell ebens family tomorrow.  They are all together for camp olson so it will be super fun to tell them all :)  we are planning to tell my immediate family on wednesday, then the rest (cousins, aunties etc) on my brothers birthday which is the 10th of September, which is just over 3 weeks.  It will be nice because hopefully everyone will be there.  Very exciting!

okay well i have to shower, we are going to the movies with booki and dave tonight to see The Campaign :)
